EASTERN CAPE LEGISLATURE STRATEGIES FOR ENHANCED OVERSIGHT AND ACCOUNTABILITY

EAST LONDON- The Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature recently wrapped up a dynamic three-day strategic planning session at the East London International Convention Centre.

Chaired by Honourable Tony Duba, the session brought together 17 committees to bolster oversight and accountability measures.

Honourable Duba underscored the vital role of committees in upholding accountability, citing key insights from the 2024 FFC report and the National Development Plan.

Committees dived into crucial areas like public works, health, finance, and legislature oversight to align objectives with provincial goals.
