NAFCOC EASTERN CAPE SPARKS ECONOMIC GROWTH AND COLLABORATION

EAST LONDON- The National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NAFCOC) Eastern Cape set ablaze the spirit of black business during a pivotal event at the East London International Convention Centre (EL ICC) on May 29th-30th, 2025.

The gathering aimed to fuel economic growth, development, and collaboration among stakeholders, particularly focusing on empowering Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs).

Deputy Chairperson Aubrey Manuel stressed the importance of sustainable business development, stating, “Using your brain when running a business results in being a successful employer.”

The event united regional representatives, national leaders, and media to showcase NAFCOC Eastern Cape’s dedication to boosting SMMEs and fostering partnerships across businesses, government, and other stakeholders.

Regional Chairperson Maria Nyawula encouraged entrepreneurs to join NAFCOC for enhanced support, declaring, “NAFCOC is still alive.”

Inspiration Developments Director Yonela Siguba highlighted efforts to empower small businesses in townships and rural areas, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to nurturing growth.

With an emphasis on unity and cooperation, Chairperson Albert Adam underlined the organization’s 60th celebration and the importance of collective effort.

As delegates gathered at the EL ICC, the air was electric with anticipation, as NAFCOC Eastern Cape championed economic empowerment and unlocked opportunities for SMMEs in the region.
